Bi-monthly telemetry monitoring of collared deer is going smoothly and all of the tagged animals are present on the island.

 

Thanks to those who have reported collared deer using our online "Report A Tagged Deer" form.

 

Report a Collared Deer Sighting

 

Residents of Bald Head Island are invited to participate in the deer project as citizen scientists.  By simply reporting sightings of tagged deer, we can better understand their movements and habitat preferences.
